Mat Pilates is a low-impact, bodyweight-based exercise method focused on strengthening the core (“powerhouse”), improving posture, and increasing flexibility. Developed by Joseph Pilates, this floor-based workout uses a mat to provide resistance and stability, making it accessible for all fitness levels, while offering significant benefits for body awareness, mental concentration, and injury prevention.
